Kailey Davis, Clinical Mental Health

Counseling Intern

Welcome, I’m so glad you’re here!

I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Sam Houston State University and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Biology from Texas State University.

I have experience working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, including children, adolescents, and adults. My previous work in crisis response alongside law enforcement allowed me to support first responders, veterans, and individuals navigating challenging, high-stress situations.

Throughout my college career, I’ve had the privilege of helping clients address concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief, suicidal ideation, navigating life changes, divorce, trauma, and much more.

My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you feel comfortable exploring your thoughts and emotions. My approach to therapy is integrative, drawing from Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Attachment theory. I strive to meet each client with empathy and understanding, while helping to ease anxiety and foster connection. I strongly believe in working collaboratively with clients to create a personalized approach that supports your unique needs and goals.

Thank you for taking this courageous step toward healing- I am honored to walk alongside you on your journey!
