Hi! My name is Michaela!
Reaching out for support takes courage, and I want you to know you don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone. My goal is to provide a safe, compassionate, and welcoming space where you feel heard, deeply seen, and accepted exactly as you are.
I have always had a passion for working with children and families and feel honored to support individuals as they navigate life’s challenges, discover their strengths, and experience growth. I believe every person deserves to have a space where they feel understood, valued, and supported.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Texas State University in 2023 and am currently pursuing my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Sam Houston State University, where I will graduate in May 2027. As a counseling intern, I look forward to working with individuals across the lifespan—including children, adolescents, adults, and families—and have a growing interest in play therapy.
I believe every person has a unique story and possesses incredible strengths. My hope is to create a warm, supportive environment where you feel safe to be your authentic self, knowing you will be met with compassion, curiosity, and encouragement. I am honored to walk alongside clients as they build resilience, discover their strengths, and work toward healing and growth.
Outside of the counseling room, I enjoy spending as much time outdoors as possible. Whether I’m hiking, relaxing at the beach, or planning my next adventure, I love being outside. I’m also a huge coffee lover, a lifelong Marvel fan (especially Spider-Man), and the proud dog mom of Parker—named after Peter Parker, of course! During football season, you’ll almost always find me cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles. Fly, Eagles, Fly!
